apparently, using "sh3eb" prefix solved the problem

Subject: apparently, using "sh3eb" prefix solved the problem

  not surprisingly, dan was right -- using the explicit target of
"sh3eb-unknown-linux-gnu" solved the problem of making sure all object
files were being built as big-endian.  (the build hasn't actually
finished yet, but it's past the point where it failed before, so i'm
cautiously optimistic.  or is that optimistically cautious?
whatever.)
