Right, lots of us have noticed that. I deal with it in glibc-2.3.2 with http://www.kegel.com/crosstool/crosstool-0.28-rc36/patches/glibc-2.3.2/arm-mcount_internal.patch but hadn't run into it on glibc-2.3.3 yet.

Have you tried using crosstool to build a toolchain yet?
