I was searching through the archives last night for any insight into building gcc 2.96 for i586-pc-linux-gnu with a vxworks PPC target.

It seems to be a common, yet infrequent, request on this list, but I didn't see a good answer as to how to do it or what steps to follow.

Does 'crosstool' support building vxworks PPC cross compilers?

Note: I have the source bundle from WindRiver and can build the compiler and associated toolset, but I'm having problems building the libraries.
