- Subject: Compile striped glibc and apps for other x86 system
I ask if i be able to startup a developer system, my target system are a
embeded x86 system, at first step we need the base system and libraries,
so i nned some help tips for compile apps for this system.
My intention is to compile glibc in a striped version, to reduce
footprint, and compile the apps with this gcc library, so a want that
the libraries linked to the compiled apps for the target system are
copies of the libraries but configured to get it's smaller footprint.
My doubt is how i make that gcc use a diferent include/lib dirs where
the libs for the embeded system resides, in contraposition of the sistem
default development libraries.
this is a x86 <=> x86 cross compilation system, if anybody have info
about make it posible or have some link, i will apreciate it.
Regards.
