Re: cross compiling for PPC7400/Linux on Solaris 8

Dan,

I read the solaris update in the crosstool-howto.html and I just want to
report that it is slightly inaccurate. Not patching binutils 2.15 will
prevent crosstool to generate the cross-compiler (not just linux).

As far as I am concerned, crosstool-0.28-rc28 is still unable to
generate a valid 3.4.X gcc for PPC on Solaris. The referenced patch is
mandatory to get a PPC (or any processor) crosstool on Solaris with
binutils 2.15
