gcc-3.4x and "-v" option

Subject: gcc-3.4x and "-v" option

 It seems to be so that gcc-3.4 doesn't dump effective defines etc.
 as previous versions did (at least 3.2.x did) with "-v" option!
 Is there some other way to do that now?
