I have just one small comment:
- Missing autoconf.h. I extracted the kernel sources in a new directory, and
forgot to run a make config (or equivalent). The script stopped at
glibc-headers. How do you feel about adding a check for autoconf.h, that
stops the script immediately instead of halfway?


Not all architectures require it, last I checked, so I'm not
sure it'd be a win in all cases.  I guess I could do the check
for just the arches I ship a .config file.  Patches gratefully
accepted :-)
