Hi dan, i have successfully build toolchain for sparc and with this
toolchain, i have successfully build a bootable 2.4.20 kernel for sparc,
the next step will be testing in sparc machine, could you point me to
some info howto-build a little environement for testing? I have sparc
station 5 (SUN4M) but i don't have any distro installed in,there is
possibility to build a little environement instead of install real
distro?

The maximum could be build a nfs env and booting sparc via net, mount
thru nfs this ambient and do the testing

I haven't tried it... if Solaris has the chroot system call, you could probably create the chroot jail as described in http://www.kegel.com/crosstool/current/doc/chroot-login-howto.html and test happily - though you probably will have to use the ptx.sh technique used by crosstest.sh to generate userland things like sh rather than stealing them from the host environment.

First step is to set up rshd as described in
http://www.kegel.com/crosstool/current/doc/chroot-login-howto.html
Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!
