Hi, >From your mail I deduce that you do not have Msys installed along with the MinGW. Msys provides a shell environment wherein you can build cross compiler as we normally do on cygwin. You can obtain Msys from: http://www.mingw.org/msys.shtml -Manoj -----Original Message----- From: Merlin R. Avery Jr. [mailto:merlin@fortressdesigns.com] Sent: Wednesday, September 10, 2003 6:42 PM To: crossgcc@sources.redhat.com Subject: i386-elf in mingw32 environment I've read countless documents and faqs and tried countless configurations, and I'm about ready to give up. If anyone knows how (step by step please) to get a mingw32 environment to be able to create a cross compiler to the i386-elf platform let me know. I know cygwin can, but I am trying to avoid cygwin. Thank you in advance. -Merlin ------ Want more information? See the CrossGCC FAQ, http://www.objsw.com/CrossGCC/ Want to unsubscribe?
