Code jumping to wrong location

Hi all,

I had a code written for ADS. I converted the code manually to be built by gcc. Its compiling and linking fine.

But when I debug, and call an ASM function from C source code, it goes to a wrong location..... i am unable to understand it.

Is there any special syntax in gcc to indicate that this is a start of a function. I had simply removed the PROC directive from ADS assembly and make the name as a 'label' and set it global.

For e.g.

For ADS it was
Pre_Process PROC

I changed it to

.global Pre_Process
Pre_Process :

Is it right to do that??

TIA
