Kernel Panic init not found

Hi people,

I built a kernel on CYGWIN for uCdimm using default settings, using the
20030314 updates available on uClinux.org

I get an image.bin 4.77 MB large..
Why is it so big

More importantly, The image does not boot.

The message is "Kernel Panic Init not found".
What could be the reason
Help me
It is very urgent
