GLD allocateable biti

Hi,

What does the section flag "allocateable" mean an do on embedded systems? (I am
compiling with powerpc-eabi-gcc, output format is srec). Since there is
no application loader that needs to load any sections before execution
may begin, is this bit of any importance?

Thanks

Eddy
