I'm trying to build a cross compiler from the cygwin bash shell as follows. $ ./configure --host=i686-pc-cygwin32 --target=i686-pc-linux-gnu The configuration goes well, but doing a make leads to the following. as: unrecognized option `-Qy' make[1]: *** [libgcc2.a] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/gcc-2.95.2-6/gcc' make: *** [all-gcc] Error 2 Under Options for System V -Qy is defined as `-Qy' Identify the versions of each tool used by the compiler, in a `.ident' assembler directive in the output. I'm not sure why a System V option is used. I have not specified System V anywhere. ??? Thanks, Joe Humel ------ Want more information?
