I have a few simple questions. I have been using a m68k cross compiler that i compiled from 2.95.2. I also compiled the cross utilities from binutils-2.9.5.0.22. I have had no problems developing, compiling and running our application software. I am now to the point that i would like to compile the vxWorks kernel with the cross compiler/binutils. In addition to the compiler, linker and few scripts the vxWorks kernel Makefile calls the following binary files: 1) cpp68k 2) xsym I am guessing that the cpp68k is some sort of 68k preprocessor. Binutils didn't create anything that i would obviously associate with this file. xsym creates a symbol table (vxWorks.sym). Can someone tell me which tools i should be using in place of these "other host executable" tools. Thanks, Jim ------ Want more information?
