-gstep?

I'm having problems getting EST's visionXD to grok my C-preprocessed
assembly files...  It has been suggested by EST that I use the '-gstep'
flag for compiling, but according to all the documentation I can get my
hands on, there's no such thing.

Anybody know anything about this?

I'm using binutils 2.9.4 and gcc 2.95.2, m68k-elf, running on a 68331.
