Stephane: I had the same problem about a year ago, and concluded that, for some reason, GCC creates a call to _main to initialize the C++ environment. I don't recall all of the details, so ymmv. Not needed for C, of course, but it still shows up. In response, I just put this at the bottom of my main.c file: void _main( void ) {} I'm no expert, but I know what works (or at least appears to) for me. :^) b.g.
