If so, I assume that "make install" is OK and that you are having problems linking with /lib/crt1.0 If this is the case, you can try looking in the spec file. I also remember one of the shared library files (libc.so.x I think) was actually a script with some absolute path references. Try grepping (grep -l) for crt1.0 in the library files and then check if any of them are text files. You might see a suspicious path which might give you a hint.
