FreeBSD contains a "ports package" in /usr/ports/devel/crossm68k which builds things properly. There are several patches you'll need; Have a look at: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/devel/crossm68k/Makefile?rev=1.1 Let me know if you have any trouble.
