For compiling the cross tools for an embedded system you should refer to ftp://ftp.cygnus.com/pub/embedded/crossgcc/FAQ and (1) use ``original'' binutils and gcc sources and NOT versions with Patches for Linux (2) apply crossgcc-gcc-2.7.*.patch (depending on the gcc version you are using) as described in the FAQ and (3) use something like ./configure --target=m68k-coff Regards \franz -- Franz G.
