I think that's sufficient, can you put it on the 2.28 branch as well?

I know that it is very late, so I will not be surprised if you say "no",
but what do you think, is it OK for the patch to go in ?

PS. FYI: The patch just sets the alignment for newly created .gnu_debuglink
sections to 4-bytes.
