Hi Andrew,

Hi.

OK to apply?

Approved - please apply.

Thanks.

One small point - I assume that you tested the patch and found no
regressions, but which toolchain(s) did you test ? I ask because we
have had patches contributed in the past which worked for an arm-eabi
toolchain but broke an arm-elf toolchain.

I'm testing on armv7l-unknown-linux-gnueabi.

I'm working with doko, a Debian maintainer, to do some more extensive testing.
When we're done, I'll commit.

built gcc-4.4 branch libjava with a binutils from trunk and this patch applied, and passing --no-merge-exidx-entries, no regressions in the testsuite. one build configured to default to armv4 by default, another one configured to armv7 by default, and adding -marm.

recent gcj versions (>= 4.1?) don't work work with the old arm abi.

I'll recheck with 4.5 and trunk as time and build resources permit.

Matthias
