hi there
i think the DLX target is important due to its educational purpose
(orthogonal instruction set, few instructions - counted 74 in
binutils-2.16, and a couple of popular backgrounders that most guys
have read during univ. years). It is a reference RISC architecture.
Q: Has anybody stepped forward for taking over DLX target maintanance?
Until now I have used binutils from a user-only perspective. If nobody
else (more experienced with CVS etc) volunteers, then I would like to
maintain the DLX port.
