I'm skeptical.  Unsubscribing is a two step process, first you send a
message asking to unsubscribe, then you receive a message asking you to
confirm the unsubscribe request, then you reply to that, and then you
are unsubscribed.

Did you receive the confirmation request?  Did you respond to it?

You can also try unsubscribing by using the web form at
http://sources.redhat.com/binutils
near the bottom of the page.  This works the same way, you will receive
a message asking you to confirm the unsubscribe request, and you have to
respond to that to finish the process.

As a last resort, you can contact a human at
overseers@sources.redhat.com.
