What happened to using the "cpu" directory?

Subject: What happened to using the "cpu" directory?

Whatever source files were going to be moved to src/cpu/ never were.  I'm
going to revert the change to include it in binutils tarballs on the branch,
but probably whatever was going to be moved ought to be on the trunk.
