Attachment: ppc-opc.c.diff.txt
Description: ppc-opc.c.patch

Thank you very much for submitting this patch. There are a few
problems however:

  * Patches should be submitted to the binutils mailing list
(binutils at sources dot redhat dot com) rather directly to me. I have taken
the liberty of forwarding this email to that mailing list.

  * Geoff Keating is the current Power PC maintainer. You can find
the list of all the current maintainers in the file
binutils/MAINTAINERS in the binutils sources. I have CC'ed Geoff
    on this email.

  * Your patch does not include an entry for the ChangeLog file.
These entries are very helpful and generally speaking we will not
    accept a patch without one.

  * A 1990 version of the POWER manual sounds rather out of date to
me, but I expect that Geoff can say whether its contents are
    relevant.

Cheers
        Nick
