ok, that was the 'obvious' way i guess, although i wasn't sure if it was
'correct' or more of a 'hack' :-)

i did actually. but maybe not closely enough to see what you were
getting at. i guess you were refering to this:
      # .oS objects will have all non-local symbol definitions .hidden
?
