Oh yeah, forgot the testing info:
gmake && gmake check of current binutils (only) from CVS w/ the patch,
host sparc-solaris targets:
mips{,64}{,el}-{elf,linux}
mips{,el}-ecoff
with no new failures and with the ECOFF branch failures fixed. 8-)
