I was intending to fix some of the problems (*) in elf64-ppc.c before
committing, but have been busy with other things.  I'll probably end up
committing what I have at the moment, and tidy things up later.

*) Shared libs, gc-sections.  Garbage collection just about requires a
rewrite to do properly.
