I've read over your mail again.  First time around I decided to leave it
for the mips maintainer to answer, but Ulf seems to not be active lately.

As far as I can see from your testcase, both binutils-2.8 and binutils-2.10
are correct in the relocations they generate.  It's likely that the mips
dynamic linker in libc-2.0.6 has a bug.
