It's one of the few ports that offer emulation support in the assembler.

Yes. Thanks for fixing this.
I guess I should have spent a little more time looking at your original
patch, but I was busy at the time with other things. I figured if you
broke the x86 binutils port, a) that's OK, we're not gearing up for a
2.11 release (as far as I know!), b) the problem would be found very
quickly, and c) you would fix it.
