You are right Alan!
Found that in the official AMD documentation, too. It was a communication
problem. I received the hint for playing with 'movntq' on the Athlon from a
friend. He named it 'movqnta' which is obviously wrong...
So I've checked it yesterday, again.
Now, I've did a string search over as
SunWave1>as -v
GNU assembler version 2.9.5 (i686-pc-linux) using BFD version 2.9.5.0.46
All 'new' Athlon/Duron instructions are supported!
