Does reverting this patch
http://sourceware.cygnus.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/src/ld/emultempl/elf32.em.diff?cvsroot=src&r1=1.13&r2=1.14
cure the problem?
If there is still a problem, try reverting this one as well
http://sourceware.cygnus.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/src/ld/emultempl/elf32.em.diff?cvsroot=src&r1=1.12&r2=1.13
bfd/elf32-mips.c mucks around with sections a lot, and the above patches
have probably broken something.
