Hello,
I've just made the second mailing list change for the binutils mailing
lists in just a few weeks. I apologize for the confusion on this side.
I have consolidated the bfd@sourceware.cygnus.com (aka bfd@cygnus.com)
and gas2@sourceware.cygnus.com (aka gas2@cygnus.com) into a single
mailing list, binutils@sourceware.cygnus.com.
The gas2 and bfd mailing lists were separate only for reasons of history.
"binutils" now includes gas, ld, BFD, and many binary utilities in a
single package. There was no reason to have multiple low-volume mailing
lists for this one package.
Mail to gas2@{sourceware.,.}cygnus.com and bfd@{sourceware.,.}cygnus.com
will be forwarded automatically to binutils@sourceware.cygnus.com.
At some point in the future, I will be replacing these forwards with
an auto-responder that will ask the sender to resend the message to the
binutils@sourceware mailing list (and include a copy of the message).
To unsubscribe from this list, send a mail note to
binutils-unsubscribe@sourceware.cygnus.com. If this doesn't work for
any reason, please contact me at jsm@cygnus.com. I do apologize for
shifting the mailing lists around so much and I want to make sure that
anyone who wants to leave the mailing list can get off of it easily.
The binutils project now has three mailing lists:
bug-binutils@gnu.org (which forwards its mail to bug-gnu-utils@gnu.org),
binutils@sourceware.cygnus.com, and binutils-cvs@sourceware.cygnus.com.
