Description Phil Muldoon 2006-09-06 20:31:02 UTC
During heavy use, the eventviewer seems to crashes with

The program 'Frysk' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.
  (Details: serial 7736571 error_code 1 request_code 0 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

How to replicate:

1) Create a new frysk session with gnome-panel or bash as the watched process group
2) Add a syscall observer
3) Launch session

After a few minutes of heavy use, Frysk will crash with the above error when the
eventviewer is being rendered.

If the eventviewer is not being show, Frysk UI operates normally.
