siege engine (built by infantry for attacking cities)
camp (fortified camp)
tribe (wandering barbarian tribe)
oppidum (village)
civitas (typical city)
urbs (large city)
Terrain Types:
sea (deep ocean)
shallows (coastal waters and lakes)
swamp (standing water and dense undergrowth)
desert (dry and sandy or rocky terrain)
plains (flat or rolling countryside or steppe)
forest (dense forest or jungle)
mountains (high elevation and/or rugged terrain)
ice (permanent ice fields)
river
road
Material Types:
food (what everybody has to eat)
wood (raw materials for building things)
stones (ammo for siege engines)
arrows (ammo for archers)
