saucer (moves fast, easy to build, but short range)
defender (heavy aircraft that defeats subs and saucers)
constructor (builds bases anywhere)
mothership (carries aircraft and ground units)
transport-sub (quickly built, carries ground units)
attack-sub (attacks cities and carries rockets)
rocket (missile that can kill most units and hit cities)
base (airstrip + port but no production)
town (produces but easily captured and may revolt)
city (metropolis - hard to capture)

fuel (used for both movement and combat)
