7.16. Viewing a Database Cluster Log File

The Log tab in the Detail Area shown in Figure 7-7 shows only the "tail" of the backend log file. You can use the Refresh button to view more messages by obtaining a new file "tail". However, sometimes it is desirable to see the whole log file, continually monitor new messages, or have noteworthy messages highlighted.

Control Center enables you to view information about the selected Database Cluster's log file. To view this information, from the Menu Bar select View => Log, or select the View Log button on the Toolbar.

The Red Hat logviewer application appears with the appropriate log file displayed.
