7.11. Editing Database Cluster Run Time Options

Control Center enables you to change the run-time options that can be changed by reloading the configuration files and/or by restarting the server.

To change these options for the selected Database Cluster, select Edit => Run Time Options. (Alternatively, double-click on a row of the Options tab of the Detail Area.)

The Edit Run Time Options dialog appears, displaying the known options grouped by category. Options not accepted in the cluster's engine version are not shown.

To edit an option, either double-click the option or select the option and click Edit. Changes do not take effect until you click the OK on the Edit Run Time Options dialog. When you have finished making changes to the option, click OK.

The following dialog appears when you click the Edit button.

	If there are changes that require a backend restart, you are asked to confirm that operation. If you do not confirm, all changes are lost. If only a reload is necessary, it is done automatically.
