7.2. Browsing Information about Database Engines

Control Center enables you to view information about the engine's settings and its status. To view this information, select Edit => Engines. The system displays a Summary View table with all known engines and a Detail Area beside it.

The summary view for engines shows the following information for all known engines:

The path where the engine is installed
The version of the engine
The state of the engine.

The known engines are the one at the standard RPM installation directory plus any others you added with Control Center.

The Detail Area shows diagnostic, configuration, and directory information about the selected engine.
