Control Center enables you to view information about the cluster's settings and status.
You can use the Show Details button at any time to hide or show the Detail Area. The View => Details menu item checkbox performs the same function.
The Clusters Summary Area displays:
The Cluster Name given to the cluster, which is the same as the Red Hat Linux service
The Catalog Version of its catalog and data
The Service Port where the service listens for requests when active (with an icon that indicates if TCP/IP connections are allowed)
An Engine State field that indicates if the corresponding service is Started, Stopped, or if the Cluster is Not Initialized. If the Database Engine associated with the Cluster is not available or cannot be used due to some problem, a Bad Engine indication is shown. In this case the actual state of the Database Cluster is unknown.

The information is static, but updates when you choose View => Refresh, click the Refresh Toolbar button, or perform an action that may change the state of the cluster. |
If the preference to Show Details is on (as it is by default), a Detail Area appears where you can see the following information about the selected cluster on tabbed pages: Status, Control Data, Locations, HBA, Options, and Log.

If you select the Log tab in the Cluster view, the tail of the log corresponding to the currently selected Cluster is shown. You can refresh the contents using the Refresh button or the View => Refresh menu option. |
