[xsl] Counting problem

Hello everyone,
 	I need count number of times a value occurs as attribute value....
i.e a value of  attribute "CAPTION"
How can I do this?? 
This my current xsl sheet which prints the value of the "CAPTION" attribute
sorted in ascending order...
