Took a bit of reworking, but using the MSXML2.XMLHTTP and the
MSXML2.DOMDocument, it worked like a treat!

Daniel,
You either want to be in replace mode by running xmlinst.exe or explicitly
create a v3 object
set objXSL=Server.CreateObject("microsoft.xmldom")
becomes
set objXSL=Server.CreateObject("Msxml2.DOMDocument.3.0")
or
set objXSL=Server.CreateObject("Msxml2.DOMDocument")
