About Zvon Links
Lists of links are very valuable information resources but creation and
especially maintaining a comprehensive collection of links is a
notoriously difficult task.
We have decided to approach this problem from a different angle. It can
be expected that if a site refers e.g. to the Zvon XML tutorial, its
content is somehow related to XML and number of hits is an indication of
the site popularity. Every day log files from the last 7 days are
analyzed and links updated, so if a site appears in the listing with at
least 1 hit, there is a very good chance that it is still alive.
The software running the Zvon Links has been written by Jakub Vrana
(vrana@idoox.com) and it is being continuously improved. This software
makes automatic suggestions about sites to be added and these are then
manually edited and added to the database. If you do not find your site
listed although you are linking to Zvon, please send us a note, there
may be some problem with the system and we will try to fix it.
We plan to open Zvon Links software sources in near future.
