I have checked in fixes to bugs 2, 3, 4 (actually both a bug and an unusual
way of setting the map preferences, which we can do without). I have also
fixed the crashes in  get_a_visible_unit. Bug 5 is a bundle problem that
will go away next time I rebuild the package. I know what is causing bug 1,
but I haven't decided yet how to handle it.

I'm not sure what to do about the single crash you reported in
choose_move_direction, though. Do you remember what game you were playing
and with what settings (World Seen/See All)? And have you seen any more
crashes in other functions?
