It was an excellent idea, and I have now implemented it both in the tcltk
interface and on the Mac. The last piece of code was checked in this
morning. It definitely makes the Help system more accessible.

The only glitch is the inability to scroll the help menu in Unix, which I
already mentioned. I have seen this in some Unix programs before, such as
the bookmarks menu in old versions of Netscape. So it must be a known
problem to Unix developers.

P.S. I will look into the default font sizes. 12 point Helvetica works fine
for me, but that is at 1280 x 1024 resolution with 75 DPI fonts on a 19"
screen. Are you using a radically different setup? Perhaps we should try to
get the user's screen size and adjust the fonts accordingly.
