Imakefiles

Is there any compelling reason to keep the Imakefiles around? I
think that on any fairly modern system which would have X
installed, there would also be a working Bourne shell that would
properly run the configure script.

I perused the contents of a few of the Imakefiles and it looks
like they would still work (though the x11 one would need some
modification to indicate the Xconq it once knew has been
reincarnated as xtconq). I just don't see a need for them,
especially since they don't exist for the newer interfaces.

  Thanks,
    Eric
