Updating to the latest CVS version did fix the problems I observed. I'll try to write a step by step over the next couple of days, verifying the steps to make sure I have it correct. I don't know if you've already fixed the problem of tcltk/tkwin32.c being in Mac format rather than UNIX or DOS format, but you might want to do that if you haven't. I'll send the two files I modified directly to you. If I recall correctly, you prefer intact files rather than patches.
