Rather, the Xconq cygwin build itself is becoming obsolete. Xconq for
Windows now builds natively with both CodeWarrior and Visual C. See the
instructions recently posted to this list by Juergen Ruehle for the latter,
and by me for the former.

However, if you still want to use cygwin you can of course try that. Xconq
was originally only guaranteed to work with cygwin-b20 and the
cygwin-adapted tcltk 8.0 sources that come with Xconq, but others have
reported that it builds fine with more recent cygwin relaeses and the
standard tcltk 8.3. Haven't tried that myself, though.
