Bug ID: 19121
Summary: kernel.statement() could accept expressions, like
FUNCTION_NAME+offset
Product: systemtap
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: translator
Assignee: systemtap at sourceware dot org
Reporter: philipp.marek at linbit dot com
Target Milestone: ---
When specifying probes at an absolute address, it would be handy to have
supported for (limited) expression evaluation; eg. FUNCTION_NAME+offset.
Not sure, one of these might already have a fix for that:
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11566
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1724
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11663
At least these are listed as "possible duplicates".
