Summary: make tokenize smp-safe
Product: systemtap
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: tapsets
AssignedTo: systemtap@sources.redhat.com
ReportedBy: fche@redhat.com
tokenize() in tapset/string.stp is implemented in
poor embedded-c, with static char*'s used in an
SMP-unsafe manner. It should be rewritten, perhaps
using per-probe-invocation space in the context struct,
like error_buffer.
